TITLE: Warehouse Administrator Parts
LOCATION: Houston, TX
REPORTS TO: Distribution Center Manager
WAGES: Entry Level; Commensurate with experience and skills
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday. Some overtime and weekends may be required
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Conduct physical inventory counts as well as use of scanning equipment
· Basic inventory movements and functions in SAP
· Ensure proper administration of all cycle count procedures
· Research outstanding issues in order to reconcile any inventory discrepancies
· Issuance of parts and inventory without discrepancies
· Deliver and fulfill inventory objectives
· Ensure quality, delivery, and timeliness of orders are met
· Stock inventory
· Work productively without constant supervision
· Work with a team to organize and effectively help run warehouse
· Other tasks as assigned by manager
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a minimum of 1 year warehouse experience with an emphasis on inventory control or minimum 1-year advanced Microsoft excel experience
- Must be local (live within 60 miles)
- Must be computer efficient and willing to learn new systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word programs
- Must be able/willing to learn and operate a forklift
- Minimum age 18
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Hands-on professional with a strong attention to detail
- Must be meticulous and organized
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule with the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be able to pass background screening including criminal background
- Must be able to work in a warehouse and in extreme weather conditions
PREFERRED
SAP experience
- Strong knowledge of tank/pump parts
