Tax Accountant
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
· Must be local (live within 60 miles)
· Minimum 5 years of experience filing sales tax or excise tax returns
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP)
· Experience managing business paperwork and accounting for a large company
· live within 60 miles of the corporate office in Houston, TX
· Professional experience working with confidential and sensitive information
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong time and work management skills
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others in a fast-paced team environment
· Self-motivation
· Excellent typing skills
· Professional telephone etiquette
PREFERRED
· Motor Fuel Excise Tax experience
· Bachelor’s degree
· SAP Experience
· Avalara and/or Vertex Experience
