Tank Maintenance
JOB TITLE: Tank Maintenance
LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX
POSITION REPORTS TO: Terminal Manager
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 7am-4pm, some Saturdays (based on business need). Some overtime and weekends may be required.
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience and skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and recondition bulk tanks, and painting
- Ensure quality, delivery and timeliness of orders are met
- Follow simple instructions
- Work productively without constant supervision
- Work with a team to organize and effectively run the Tank Department
- Other tasks and projects as assigned by manager
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Must be local (live within 60 miles)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Must have at least 1 year of forklift experience
- Must be able to lift 80 pounds
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Able to work outside in extreme all-weather conditions
- Must exhibit stable employment history
- Must be motivated, able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management and work well in a team environment
- Ability to promote teamwork, be a self-starter, and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule. Come in early, stay late or work on weekends if needed
PREFERRED
- Must have at least 1 year of prior warehouse general labor experience
- Must have prior industrial painting experience
- Must have prior experience working on pumps and pressure testing tanks
