Safety Regional Manager

• 10 + years of operations and safety supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA compliance regulations
• Patient and understanding, yet assertive demeanor as the position interfaces with a large driver population
• Strong leadership, organizational and management skills
• Well-developed communication and presentation skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook programs
• Ability to travel, work weekends and work overtime when needed
• Must be local to Midland, or willing to relocate (must live within 60 miles of the Sun Coast terminal)
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

• Ability to provide employees with feedback, performance standards, clear instructions, and expectations.
• Ensure employees have the tools and resources to do their job.
• Coach and guide team members while assessing strengths and opportunities.
• Ensure there is two-way communication with all team members.
• Provide a positive and effective work environment.
• Protecting and maintaining the privacy of employee personnel records including compensation information.

• Experience in the fuel transportation industry
• Smith System Certification
• Oilfield related experience
