Railroad Manager
REQUIRED
- Valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
- Hazmat and tanker endorsements
- Minimum 23 years of age
- High school diplomas or the equivalent
- Acceptable DAC report and PSP score
- Ability to pass criminal background screening and have a good driving record
- Ability to successfully pass a DOT drug screen and physical
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience or have successful completion a commercial driving class consisting of at least 100 hours
- Must disclose whether an alcohol or drug test has ever been failed or refused
- Must provide a full 10 years of employment history with no gaps in the dates
- Must provide reasons for leaving prior employment for the past 10 years
- Some mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Stable employment history
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, manage time, organize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to get along with others and work well in a team environment
- Ability to operate an Ipad
- Ability to work an extended work week. A work week may exceed 70 hours (oilfield exemption applies).
- Ability to work between 12 to 18 hours per day
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to work well in a team environment and get along with others
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Basic math skills
- Experience in a team-oriented work groups is a plus
- Familiarity with DOT regulations
- Flexible schedule
- Fuel and experience a plus
- Fuel experience or experience hauling bulk liquids is preferred
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Must be able to conform to shifting priorities, responsibilities, strategies, demands and timelines
- Must be detail oriented, organized, and self motivated
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Strong personal and customer service skills
- Must be able to get along with others
