JOB TITLE: Marketing Specialist

LOCATION: Houston, Texas

POSITION REPORTS TO: Regional Marketing Manager

JOB LEVEL: Mid-Level

SCHEDULE: Mon – Fri; 8:00 am – 5:00pm; some overtime, and some weekends required

WAGES: Commensurate with experience

 

Job Summary:

The Marketing Specialist will assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and promote the company’s products and services. This role requires experience with graphic design tools, a strong understanding of digital marketing, and the ability to create compelling content for various platforms. The ideal candidate will be proficient in marketing software, possess strong organizational skills, and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

        Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns ensuring alignment with overall business objectives

        Create engaging content for social media platforms, blogs, email newsletters, and other digital platforms to drive audience engagement and brand awareness

        Utilize graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) to design marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, advertisements, and digital assets

        Manage and optimize social media scheduling tools and email marketing software

        Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms

        Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics, providing insights to improve effectiveness

        Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate marketing and sales initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and brand representation

        Assist in maintaining an annual calendar of regional marketing and sales activities to align regional and corporate initiatives

        Manage and distribute inventory of marketing promotional items to support branding efforts

        Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and best practices to enhance marketing strategies

        Work independently while maintaining a strong sense of collaboration within the marketing team

        Other related tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

        Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

        3+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, content creation, and graphic design

        Locals only (must live within 60 miles)

        Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for graphic design and content creation

        Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems

        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

        Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

 

Preferred:

        Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and online advertising

        Knowledge of video editing and multimedia content creation

        Ability to analyze data and generate insights to improve marketing strategies
