JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Representative
LOCATION: Houston, TX
POSITION REPORTS TO: Houston Sales Manager
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
- Initiate sales process by preparing proposals, completing the account set up, and understanding customer requirements
- Conduct warm calling and outbound calling to potential customers to generate new business opportunities daily
- Make outbound calls to potential customers on a daily basis
- Follow up on new leads and qualify referrals resulting from inbound lead generation
- Meet sales goals and expectations set by manager
- Maintain sales materials, attend sales training classes as directed to enhance current and future product knowledge
- Maintain monthly pipeline communication with management, along with reviewing monthly sales reports
- Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
- Identify and resolve client concerns
- Maintain expectations via CRM to populate status reports, including daily call log activity, follow-up calls/emails, and adherence to daily and monthly sales goals
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through activity to appropriate company staff
- Other related tasks as assigned by manager
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Locals only please, willingness to work in the office (live within 60 miles)
- Minimum 1 year office administrative experience
- Valid drivers license and a good driving record
- Must be able to pass background screening including a criminal background
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Word programs
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Superior time-management and organization skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Position requires non-traditional hours (evening, weekends and holidays) in order to successfully meet customer needs
PREFERRED
- 1 + year(s) previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position
- SAP and CRM experience
- Experience working in the fuel and/or transportation industry
