Fuel Supply Specialist
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the fuel industry or a closely related supply chain, commodity trading, or logistics operations environment, with demonstrated responsibility for strategic decision-making impacting business performance
· Must be willing and able to work 100% on-site at our Houston, TX office
· Must have a Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
· Proven track record of exercising independent judgment in areas such as pricing strategy, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and operational problem-solving
· Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends, interpret financial data, and translate findings into actionable strategies
· Flexibility to adjust work schedule to meet operational priorities, including support during emergencies, market disruptions, or after-hours requirements
· Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent Sun Coast/RelaDyne in high-level supplier, vendor, and industry discussions
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple, competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
· Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to produce, edit, and present complex operational and financial reports
· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration, influence stakeholders, and drive process improvements across departments
· High level of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to make decisions that balance operational efficiency, financial impact, and compliance requirements
· Must be willing to travel
· Attend Fuel related, conferences, dinners, and outings
· Must be willing to work outside or normal work schedule that include nights and weekends when responding to any emergency event
PREFERRED
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, or equivalent total experience of 9 years
· Proficiency in SAP and the ability to leverage ERP systems for operational decision-making, reporting, and performance tracking
