Fleet Administrator
JOB TITLE: Fleet Administrator
LOCATION: Houston
POSITION REPORTS TO: Fleet Administrative Manager
SCHEDULE: Hourly. Entry level. Monday through Friday. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some overtime and weekends may be required.
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with skills and experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in maintaining current and accurate title and registration information
- Create repair orders in SAP and issue purchase order numbers
- Invoice coding and processing of monthly payables with accuracy
- Maintain fleet maintenance records
- Respond to emails, answer phones, file documents, data entry, maintain reports
- Research and resolve problems
- Other tasks as assigned by manager
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Must be local, willingness to work in the office
- Minimum 2 years of clerical or administrative experience working in an office environment
- Valid driver’s license (must be able to pass background and MVR)
- Problem Solving/Analysis
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy-duty automotive and truck equipment experience
- Ability to effectively prioritize daily tasks and be able to work on multiple tasks within timeline constraints as required
- Attention to detail is a must along with strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word programs
- Work proficiently with the ability to self-start in a fast paced environment
- Stable employment history
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Energetic and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic
PREFERRED
- SAP experience
- Experience using VMRS (Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards)
- Experience in the transportation industry
- Experience with DOT compliance
