Driver Manager

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

·         Must be local to Midland, or willing to relocate (must live within 60 miles of the Sun Coast terminal)

·         Valid class A license with tanker / hazmat endorsements and a good driving record

·         Strong knowledge and understanding of FMCSA/DOT regulatory guidelines

·         Professional appearance and attitude

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel programs

·         Flexible schedule – come in early, stay late, and work on weekends, On call availability 24/7

·         Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

·         Flexibility and ability to conform to shifting priorities, responsibilities, strategies, demands and timelines

LEADERSHIP:

·         Ability to provide employees with feedback, performance standards, clear instructions, and expectations

·         Ensure employees have the tools and resources to do their job

·         Coach and guide team members while assessing strengths and opportunities

·         Ensure there is two-way communication with all team members

·         Provide a positive and effective work environment

PREFERRED

·         Prior supervisory experience

·         Experience in the fuel transportation industry
