CDL Heavy Haul Driver
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Locals only please. Must live within 60 miles of terminal
- Minimum age 23
- Valid class A license with hazmat/tanker endorsements
- Must have at least 1 year minimum tractor trailer experience
- Must be able to drive a 10 speed
- Must be able to load, unload, strap, or chain down equipment
- Must be able to pass background screening including MVR and criminal
- Must meet all DOT and FMSCA requirements for commercial drivers
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and an extended workweek-overnight and/or out of town travel may be required
- Stable employment history
- May be required to lift objects weighing 50 pounds
- Some mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be able to read, speak, write and communicate using the English language well enough to perform the job functions
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and for 12 to 14 hours a day
- Strong customer service skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, manage time, organize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
PREFERRED
- Experience using a roll-off trailer
